Early morning training

Early morning sun kissed Link's face as it peeked over the horizon. He breathed a deep breath of the crisp cool morning air and exhaled softly. Morning was the best time to train, the air was cool, and the world was just waking up from its night-time slumber.

The young green-clad hero pulled out his shining sword. The weapon of legends, given by the goddesses themselves. The Master Sword. The sword that smote all evil, and sent monsters running at the mere mention of its name. "Hyah! Heyah! Height!" he yelled practicing his kya, or intimidating yell, with every swing at the practice dummy he set up minutes before.

The leather clad straw monster fell to pieces under the onslaught of Link's fierce blows.

Soon, between the growing dawn and Link's yells the hero camp began to wake.

Saria woke up hearing link's yelling she gets up and walks up to link "good morning link" she said smiling up at him then looks at the dummy oh did I disturb you from your training? I'm sorry" she said then walked to a tree stump and took out her ocarina and started playing her song taping on the stump with her foot to keep the beat

Links face relaxed, his focused scowl melting into a peaceful smile. He loved hearing Saria play. He had ever since they were kids, well, since HE was a kid. His blows became slower, but hit their mark more often eventually swinging the dummy off the post it was mounted on.

He picked it up and placed it back on the post before joining Saria by the stump, leaning up against it and closing his eyes peacefully.

"You play beautifully Saria"

Saria stops playing and looks at link "thank you link" she said then continues playing the ocarina still taping the beat on the stump then stops to hear a faint voice "did you hear that link?" She asked looking at him hoping that he did she jumped off of the stump still looking at link

Link's elf-like Hylian ears twitched. "I do.." he said looking around and trying to pinpoint the sound. "But I dont know what it is.."

Saria gasped "the spirets are intruble" she said running to where the voice came from "come on link we have to help them" she yelled still running into the lost woods and into the forest temple grounds she stops and looks up at the enterance "this is not good I feel a dark presence here but what is it,?" She asked droping to the ground

Link ran after her, clomping through the giant hollow logs. He noticed a odd lack of the curious music that normally played in the forest. He didnt have a good feeling about this.

Saria looked around to see if link was there then she heard a twig snap she gasped "link are you there?" She said steping backwards

[Dark Link]

(the only cameo of DL in the heros board x3)

Dark Link muttered under his breath, cursing himself for so stupidly giving away his position. He jumped from the shadows and landed in front of Saria with a evil grin. "Hello little girl"

Saria took another step backwards and steped on a root of a tree and fell backwards she gasped "h-hello" she said nervusly "d-do you need something?" She asked still nervus about being around this dark man she felt like running she felt like she was about to scream so she took out her ocarina and raised it up to her lips

Dark Link swiped it away, luckily it landed in a bed of moss and was unharmed. "Ah ah ah" he tsked, "Cant have any of that." he said coming closer. His blood red eyes glimmered with a evil power and the grass died in a little oval around his boots.

Meanwhile, further back in the forest Link jogged past the little "stage" the Skull-children played on sometimes, and past a angry shrub, getting a deku nut spat at him in the process.

Saria gasped when her ocarina was taken away she looked at the dark figure and scooted backwards as he came closer to her she looked down at the shriveld grass she gasped in shock her eyes going wide as it shrivaled then she looked up at the dark figure seeing thoughs red eyes looking strait at her she scooted some more "link help!" She yelled

Link's ears perked and he ran towards the sound of the yell, emerging in a bright meadow where he saw Saria and the shadowy figure of Dark Link. "You" he growled, capturing Dark Link's attention and drawing his Master Sword, shifting to a fighting stance.

[Dark Link]

Dark Link feigned fear "Oh no! Its you!" he said pointing a finger at Link before laughing so hard his evil red eyes watered black tears. "Im not scared of you." he said with a mocking grin. Turning back to Saria he continued "And Im not here for her either. My task here is done." and with that he jumped backward into the shadows and disappeared.
